Faster Than A Mouse!

When using IM's, pressing the control key and the enter key simultaneously will send the message. No need to use a mouse. Tab key, followed by space bar (sequentially, in that order, not simultaneously) also works, and is probably even faster once you get used to it.

Stop Waiting!

If you're caught in an hourglass, do the following combination: Click on the little AOL icon in the upper left-hand corner. Do not select anything from the menu. Then, go to Help, and go to "About AOL." You will get the "About AOL" box.

Click "okay," and you'll be hourglass free.

Clear That Cache!

Ever want to visit the latest version of a web page that has just changed? Clicking the "reload" icon on AOL won't do it...unless you press the control key while you click. This will force a true reload.
